Hi Gang! I'm new here so if I'm posting in the wrong area or something, please go easy on me.

My dad was a USMC Veteran and passed away unexpectedly in January of this year. He didn't have much and out of all his "worldly possessions" he ABSOLUTELY ADORED his 1983 BMW 320i. He called her "Betsy" and she was so great and dependable for him in all the 10-15 years he owned her. Well, I can't use Betsy because I use an electric wheelchair, unfortunately. I know he would love to know another fellow Veteran got whatever use she has left in her out and that is the reason for my post.

If you are a Veteran in need of a solid car, possibly just back and forth to the store or whatever, or if you know of someone like that, please let me know. The Kelly Blue Book on it, believe it or not, is $1625-$6175 so, depending on the situation, we'll take next to nothing. There's also the possibility of retiring it through the govt. program where they'll pay $1000 for it, but in the county I live and just registered it in, there is no smog requirements and they won't do it.

So, PLEASE keep this offer in mind for anyone in need and let me know. Betsy needs a really good new home.
