States With Veterans bonus'
Each Bonus has link to website with all associated paperwork. Montana has one, but cannot find any info on it. Could either not find or there are no current Bonuses for the following states. Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin & Wyoming. Please let me know if you have anything for the preceding states.

New Hampshire Vietnam War Bonus Eligibility Requirements- Those with active service of 90 days or more between August 5, 1964, and August 15, 1973, or those who served in Vietnam between July 1, 1958, and August 5, 1964, and earned the Vietnam Service Medal or the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. Must have been a bona fide resident of New Hampshire at the time of enlistment and have received an honorable discharge.
Payment Information Persian Gulf War Bonus Eligibility Requirements- Each person who actively served as a member of the armed forces of the United States between August 2, 1990, and November 30, 1995, and who earned the Southwest Asia Service Medal, and who was discharged, released or has a certificate of service therefrom, under honorable conditions, and who at the time of entry on such service, and at the time of such service was a bona fide resident.
Payment Information Global War on Terrorism Operations Service Bonus Eligibility Requirements- Each person who actively served in any capacity as a member of the uniformed services of the United States on or after September 11, 2001 and on or before a date to be determined by the Secretary of Defense, and who earned the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal or Afghanistan Campaign, or Iraq Campaign Medal; and who was discharged, released or has a certificate of service therefrom, with an honorable discharge, or who is missing in action or who was killed in action; and who at the time of entry on such active service, and at the time of such service was a bona fide resident.

Alabama Southeast Asian War Prisoners Bonus Eligibility Requirements- any person who entered the armed services while a bona fide resident of the state of Alabama and who was imprisoned as a prisoner of war in North Vietnam, South Vietnam, Laos or Cambodia. If the person qualified for the payment of this bonus died while a prisoner, the gratuity shall be paid to the next of kin.

Illinois WWII Bonus Eligibility Requirements- To a veteran who was a resident of Illinois at time of entering service, served at least 60 days on active duty between September 16, 1940 and September 3, 1945, and received an honorable discharge.
Payment Information- $10 per month for domestic service
- $15 per month for foreign service
- Survivors are entitled to a benefit of $1,000, if the veteran's death was service-connected and within the period specified.
Korean, Vietnam and Persian Gulf Conflict Bonus Eligibility Requirements- Korea - June 27, 1950 - July 27, 1953
- Vietnam - January 1, 1961 - March 28, 1973
- Vietnam Frequent Wind - April 29, 30, 1975
- Persian Gulf - August 2, 1990 - November 30, 1995.
- The claimant must also be in receipt of one of the following medals: Korean Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal Vietnam Era or the Southwest Asia Service Medal; and have been a resident of Illinois for 12 months immediately prior to entering service and have received an Honorable Discharge. (Individuals currently on active duty who served in the Persian Gulf may apply prior to discharge.)
Payment Information Survivors'Compensation Eligibility Requirements- Survivors of certain persons killed by terrorist acts or hostile activities during performance of military service in periods recognized as wartime by United States campaign or service medals. Residency of 1 year in Illinois prior to entering military service is required.
- Vietnam Veteran's death is service-connected or is the direct result of service-connected disabilities incurred in the period specified. A separate application is required.
Payment Information POW Compensation Eligibility Requirements- Persons on active duty with the Armed Forces of the United States or employed by the United States Government on, or after, January 1, 1961, who were residents of Illinois 12 months prior to entry, and who were taken and held prisoner by hostile forces in Southwest Asia
Payment Information- $50 for each month or portion thereof while being held captive.

Massachusetts WWII Bonus Eligibility Requirements- Chapter 731 Acts of 1945: Six months domicile in Massachusetts immediately prior to entry into the Armed Forces service between September 16, 1940 and July 25, 1947.
- Discharge must be under Honorable conditions.
Payment Information- One day to six months active service $100.00
- Six continuous months of active service $200.00
- Foreign service & Merchant Marines $300.00
Korean War Bonus Eligibility Requirements- Chapter 440 Acts of 1953: Six months domicile in Massachusetts immediately prior to entry into the Armed Forces service between June 25, 1950 and January 31, 1955.
- Discharge must be under Honorable conditions.
Payment Information- Ninety days state side service* $100.00
- Six continuous months of active service $200.00
- One or more days outside continental limits of the United States $300.00
Vietnam War Bonus Eligibility Requirements- Chapter 646 Acts of 1968: Six months domicile in Massachusetts immediately prior to entry into the Armed Forces service between July 1, 1958 and April 1, 1973. (Any service, which started on or after October 2, 1972, is less than six months.)
- Six continuous months of active service*
- Discharge must be under Honorable conditions.
Payment Information- Vietnam service $300.00
- All other service $200.00
Welcome Home Bonus Eligibility Requirements- Chapter 130 Acts of 2005: Six months domicile in Massachusetts immediately prior to latest enlistment/commission into the Armed Forces.
- For active service on or after September 11, 2001.
- Discharge must be under Honorable conditions.
Payment Information- Active service in Afghanistan or Iraq: $1000.00 (The area of eligibility encompasses all land area of the countries Iraq and Afganistan, and the contigous water area out to 12 nautical miles, and all air spaces above the land area of Iraq and Afganistan and above the contiguous water area out to 12 nautical miles)
- Six continuous months of active service, state side or outside the continental limits of the United States service: $500.00
*Unless discharge or release as a result of injury or disease incurred or aggravated by such services.

Iowa Vietnam Conflict Bonus Eligibility Requirements- Iowa residents who served on active duty for at least 120 days between July 1, 1973 and May 31, 1975 are eligible for this bonus program.
Payment Information- Veterans who served in Vietnam will receive $17.50 for each month served.
- Veterans that served outside of Vietnam during this time will receive $12.50 for each month of service.
- The maximum bonus amount is $500 for veterans who served in Vietnam and $300 for those who were not in country.

Missouri WWII or Korea Eligibility Requirements- Must have been Honorably Discharged from the military. Persons receiving the bonus may not be paid if the person has receivied a bonus from any other state, is incarcerated for conviction of a felony, or violated the Selective Service Act.
Payment Information- $15 per month (but not exceed $400)

Ohio (UNDER UPCOMING VOTE) Afghanistan, Iraq & Persian GulfThis amendment provides for monthly compensation of $100 for veterans who served in the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan, and Iraq, up to $1,000, and monthly compensation of $50 for those serving elsewhere during these conflicts, up to $500. Family members of those killed in action would receive $5,000 in addition to any other allowable compensation.

Oregon World War II Veterans' Compensation Fund
Eligibilty Requirements:- Served at least 90 days between September 16, 1940, and June 30, 1946.
- Be a bona fide resident of the State of Oregon for at least one year immediately preceding the commencement of such service.
- Been separated from such service under honorable conditions, or who is still in such service, or who has been retired.
Payment Information:- $10 per month domestic service

Pennsylvania Persian Gulf Veterans Bonus Eligibilty Requirements:- Served with the United States Armed Forces, a reserve component of the United States Armed Forces or the Pennsylvania National Guard.
- Served on active duty in the Persian Gulf Theater of Operations during the period from August 2, 1990 to August 31, 1991 and received the Southwest Asia Service Medal.
- Been a legal resident of Pennsylvania at the time of active service (Aug 2, 1990 - Aug 31, 1991).
Payment Information:- A one-time benefit of $75 per month for each month (or major fraction thereof) of active service in the Persian Gulf Conflict Theater of Operations during the covered period. The maximum compensation is $525.
- An additional one-time benefit of $5,000 if the service member was declared a prisoner of war at any time in Theater during the period of qualifying service.
Beneficiaries Payment Information:- A one-time benefit of $75 per month for each month (or major fraction) of the veteran’s active service in the Persian Gulf Conflict Theater of Operations during the covered period. The maximum compensation is $525.
- An additional one-time benefit of $5,000 if the service member died in “active service” in theater during the period of August 2, 1990 to August 31, 1991 or as a result of service connected wounds, diseases or injuries sustained during such active service as certified by DoD or the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
